4. 8. Jelikož v QRL střídáme dovolené (doma jsem pobyl od 14 do 17 hodin) a protože můj 2metrový PA je po PD pořád u Standy OK1AGE v garáži rozhodl jsem se v ALPE - ADRIA kontestu zúčastnit pouze symbolickou hodinu. K rigu jsem usedl o půl čtvrté odpoledne. Anténu otočil na jihovýchod a první na koho jsem na bandu narazil, byl HA6W z KN07. Nakonec se povedlo 22 QSO. ODX tradičně IK5ZWU/6 z JN63GN 741 km. Hodilo to jeden bod přes 9 k a průměr byl 428 km /QSO 
Podle CLX dělal OK1IA LZ2ZY z KN13.

5. 8. Chvilku jsem se snažil v NAC kontestu. 2x SM, OZ, DL z JO64 a 9A2.

6. 8. Blíží se maximum Perseid. Dnes jsem po drobných úpravách v HAMSHACKU zase spustil WJST. Povedlo se mi dekódovat ES6DO a OH0/DL2ECM z JP90.

10. 8. Dopoledne zkouším (tak jako poslední 3 dny) poslouchat odrazy.
11. 8. Dělám svoje první QSO na 6 metru provozem JT6M. Je to EI9E/P z IO55. V noci se daří první QSO. LZ7J jsou 1300 m vysoko v KN21 a jejich odrazy jsou super!

14. 8. se mi povedlo za 4minuty zkompletovat MS QSO s Patem EI8IQ IO62, který se asi vrátil z expedice EI9E/P. Ušetřím na zdraženém poštovném . EI8IQ je QSL managerem EI9E

15. 8. Zkouším poslouchat s LNA dole u TRX. LNA je podle YU1AW s BFG135a. Vypadalo to dobře. Zítra musím dodělat obcházecí relátka.

28. 8. Odpoledne se velmi pěkně otevřela ESka na 6 metru směrem na Anglii. Během 2 hodin se dalo pracovat se všemi tamními "zeměmi" včetně GU, GD a GJ. Zajímavě byli slyšet (via back scattering) DL stanice z JO30, 31, 40, JN48 
. Většinou ale volali silné stanice z Británie. Povedlo se mi QSO s DK3EE z JN48 (new #).
